{"id":27366,"date":"2015-06-17T08:50:49","date_gmt":"2015-06-17T06:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acao.it\/?p=27366"},"modified":"2022-03-02T12:31:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T11:31:12","slug":"vintage-glider-meeting-acao-aero-club-adele-orsi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acao.it\/en\/blog-en\/vintage-glider-meeting-acao-aero-club-adele-orsi\/","title":{"rendered":"Vintage Glider Meeting: ACAO Aero Club Adele Orsi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4914\" src=\"https:\/\/acao.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/vintage-640x220-1.jpg\" alt=\"vintage\" width=\"640\" height=\"220\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Despite initial poor weather Calcinate Dei Pesce\u2019s first \u2018Plini Rovesti\u2019 meeting of the Vintage Gliding Club finally got under way with many pilots only making their first flight today.<\/p>\n<p>More than 10 vintage gliders have gathered at the Giorgo &amp; Adele airport including types going back to the 80 year old <strong>Hu 28 \u2018Olympia Meise\u2019<\/strong>. Most are 1950s types such as the <strong>Scheibe<\/strong> <strong>L-Spatz 55<\/strong>  and <strong>MU13-D3<\/strong> or <strong>Schleicher KA6<\/strong> both \u2018e\u2019 and \u2018cr\u2019 variants and also the <strong>Focke-Wulf Weihe 50<\/strong>. Also included of course was our own <strong>Bergfalke 11\/55 I-EVAM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Representing 1970s design, a transition period between wood and composite material construction, was the <strong>Elfe S4a<\/strong> made in Switzerland by Albert Neucom.<\/p>\n<p>Most pilots arrived in Calcinate from Switzerland with others from Germany, the Netherlands and of course Italy.
