ACAO is now equipped with an ultrasonic anemometer produced by the French firm LCJ CAPTEURS which measures real time wind velocity and direction and atmospheric pressure.
Wind and pressure information are distributed within the ACAO information system and are publicly available on the Internet, on the club terminals and (soon) via radio.
LCJ Capteurs have been making and developing anemometers since 1999 satisfying many applications with a wide range of models.
LCJ Capteurs have proved to be reliable and accurate in the marine sector and are used today in many other fields, for instance meteorological stations, industry, safety and agriculture.
Measurements can be found 24 hours a day on this page or alternatively by selecting the Meteo menu on our website and then selecting Anemometro ACAO by LCJ Capteurs.
