With strong winds preventing school flight training today, a number of members have been able to fly an advanced training mission Calcinate – Martica – Pianbello – S. Giorgio – Generoso with a landing at Alzate or alternatively: Calcinate – S. Giorgio – Generoso – Tremezzo – Bregagno – Legnone, while making radio calls to Lugano tower. It was a great opportunity to get familiar with our local training area, learning to know and recognise local mountains, while following and improving communication procedures (with club member François Robert as acting ATC !).
Another great occasion at Calcinate. Nothing can keep us grounded!
