ACAO has enthusiastically joined the VIVILAGO 2022 initiative promoted by the Varese Sette Laghi Lion Club, which will take place on June 18 and 19, 2022.
In fact, this year it resumes the initiative carried on for several years, but interrupted a few years ago, always supported and sponsored by the Municipality of Varese and the “riparian” ones, centered on the Schiranna locality of Lake Varese, with the aim of giving it new vitality and continuity over time.
Vivilago was born in the 1990s with the main objective of raising awareness and keeping the public interested and up-to-date on the state of health of Lake Varese, in order to promote initiatives for a better collective enjoyment of it and the areas surrounding the lake, with a view to a sustainable approach both in the use of natural resources and in the entrepreneurial activities of the area.
The event will include the participation of local associations and societies that will organize to represent their activities to the citizens, involving the citizens themselves on site to interact with their proposals. In addition, there is a fireworks display on the lake and several musical moments, among which the most impressive will be held in Villa Tatti Tallachini in Comerio on Sunday, June 19, at 7 p.m. and will be performed by the Novara Conservatory Clarinet Choir.
The main objective of the event is to raise awareness of environmental issues concerning the Lake and the surrounding area but also how to live them sustainably, hence the name VIVILAGO. But, at the same time, the most important goal of Vivilago, in the tradition of the LIONS CLUB , is to allocate all the economic resources raised during the event to beneficenza, in favor of POL.HA VARESE, in which goal all the associations involved will participate. ACAO will then allocate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of flight vouchers purchased by the public (see appropriate poster here ) to the Varese Lions Club project.
