We were delighted to welcome a group of Second Period pilots from Alzate who, together with their tutor returned the visit we paid them back in November.
They flew in with one of their K21 and we made our D-2153 available for them to practice takeoff and landing in a place other than their home airport.
After a short briefing about our traffic pattern and procedures, they were towed at 1000m on the crest of Mt. Campo dei Fiori, and glided back to our airfield. Weather conditions were less than ideal but the simulator was brought into service to mitigate that, and was much appreciated.
A nice day overall.
Thanks to our Alzate friends and to our tutors that make these mutual visits a recurring event for both Clubs.
