Following the plantation ceremony, the afternoon of December 3rd saw a most interesting lesson by Andrea Ferrero who guided us with great expertise to discover high flight, i.e wave flying.
This was no usual lesson limited to didactic concepts: Through technical information and first-hand pilot reports, he introduced us to a kind of flying very different from thermal or dynamic soaring, one that relies on specific weather conditions and topography.
