Last Saturday a delegation of 40 entrepreneurs from China visited ACAO of which 38 chose to experience flying in gliders.
The delegation from the Shenzen general Chamber of Commerce was driven by Wang Shi, founder of furniture maker Vanke which had a pavilion at EXPO.
Besides their experience in ACAO the delegation took part in other activities in our area including rowing, walking to Sacro Monte and a round-the-lake cycling competition, all co-ordinated by the Lombardia-China Association. Needless to say, the delegation has been struck by the beauty of our countryside and was elated to discover it from the air, in a silent glider flight.
